Feng Shui - Create Wealth In Your Life - Part 2
72Feng Shui uses crystals, mirrors, plants, fountains, brass, terracotta and various other accessories in different parts of the house to ease the flow of energy and harmony.
The Essential Steps
One of the most essential requirements is to clear all the clutter in your home and clear all spaces.
It is also essential to have a good quality of light and air flow in your house. Open the windows and let clean air in, use an air-purifier or plants that clarify the air. Let in as much natural light as possible. This will help in the proper flow of the Ch'i.
The right placement of colors and elements in your home is quite a lengthy subject, I'm just covering the basics in these series. You can start with the basicsand gradually learn more about the functions of each colour, element, and accessories.
The 5 Elements of Feng Shui
The 5 elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. These elements interact with each other to faciltate the flow of good Chi.
These 5 elements correspond to different colours.
Wood with green and brown; Fire with Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple and Pink; Earth with Light Yellow and Light Brown;Metal with White and Gray; and Water with Blue and Black
The productive cycle of the Five Elements of Feng Shui are:
Wood feeds Fire, Fire feeds Earth, Earth feeds Metal, Metal feeds Water, Water feeds Wood.
The Wood Element
Wood is the first element because it represents the beginning of new life; Some people use wood furniture thinking it would bring in good Ch’i, but dead wood is lifeless and hardly contains any energy. You need to use live wood in the form of a bushy plant such as a “money plant” as it contains so much live Ch’i. Remember to feed and water it because if plant dies it will hold bad Ch’i.Try to always keep the plants in good condition.
Therefore, if you want to use the wood element it is more effective to use live wood in the form of plants, particularly indoor plants.
Wood represents the East and South East directions.
The Fire Element
Fire represents the South andis the most “Yang” of the elements. A table lamp with a red shade makes an excellent Fire remedy.
The Earth Element
Earth should be combined with rock, clay and stone. For example, a terracotta pot filled with soil or a clay statue are perfect earth elements.
Earth represents West and the North West.
The Metal Element
Metal can be found in the forms of Gold, Copper, Bronze, Silver, Brass and other forms. You can use ornaments in these forms.
The Water Element
Water is the most powerful element to use, It should always be clear and overflowing, never let it go stagnant as this will create more problems in your life. A fountain or acquarium or a fishpond in the garden are ideal usage of the water element.
Water represents the North.
When the elements are used in the right way , they could have great impact on wealth, health and relationships.
